Overview
In collaboration with a business law firm, I produced a series of 15 educational explainer videos covering legal and compliance topics for employees of small and medium-sized businesses.
Rather than relying on lengthy documents or traditional presentations, the goal was to transform complex legal concepts into clear, engaging animations that made the training easier to follow and remember.
The Challenge
Helping people actually pay attention.
Compliance training often struggles with engagement. Dense information, legal terminology, and mandatory viewing can quickly become difficult for employees to absorb. The challenge was to transform complex legal topics into concise, visually engaging lessons that supported learning without oversimplifying the content.
Creative Direction
Building a Consistent Learning Series
Rather than creating a single standalone animation, the project required developing a visual system that could support fifteen individual training modules.
Consistent motion, illustration style, pacing, and transitions helped create a recognizable learning experience while allowing each topic to introduce new legal concepts.

Designing a single explainer is one challenge; creating a series requires a different mindset.
